Today, along with our friends at Kairos and Friends of the Earth + 41,000 individual advocates, sent a letter to Google demanding they put our future and the future of the planet before their short-term profits.
Google has a policy against climate denial on their platforms, but they aren’t giving it the resources it needs. Google is abetting the fossil fuel industry by enabling disinfo networks to flourish on their platforms because it makes them money.
Our demand is clear: Google must immediately and permanently demonetize climate change deniers on their platforms. We will keep pushing Google until this happens.
